Age Limit

Know about the maximum and minimum Age limits (as of 1st January 2024). For the SSC GD Candidates.

• Minimum - 18 years
• Maximum - 23 years

Age Relaxation

Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, etc) are eligible for age relaxation. Refer to the below table for more details about it.

Nationality

• A Citizen of India
• The candidate must also possess a domicile/ PRC against his/her state/ UT.

Education Qualification

Education Qualification is one of the most important factors that every candidate must cross-check before applying. SSC GD Constable Qualification is given below. This table shows the minimum educational qualification required for the post of SSC GD Constable

• Candidates should have cleared /passed Matriculation or 10th pass from a recognized Board/Universit
• Candidates who have not acquired the essential qualification as per the prescribed dates will not be eligible for the exam.

• The computer-based exam will consist of four different subjects. (General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi)
• Each question will carry +2 mark.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
• The exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English languages.
• The candidates who clear this stage will be selected for the PMT PST.
