RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
RRB Group D Age Limit is one of the required criteria which has to be fulfilled for appearing for the exam. Candidates who are applying for the exam will have to make sure that they belong in between the age limit decided by RRB. The age limit, as mentioned in the RRB Group D notification, are given below:
- Lower Age Limit-18 years
- Upper Age Limit-33 years

Educational Qualification
Candidates will have to fulfill the minimum educational qualification as stated in the eligibility criteria required for the RRB Group D 2023 exam. The following are the minimum educational qualifications that every aspiring candidate must have:
- Must have passed Class 10 from a recognized Board/ Institution. (Candidates appearing for the final results are not eligible)
- Must hold an ITI degree or,
- Must have a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) which is granted by NCVT.
Nationality
For the RRB Group D exam, nationality is considered very important. RRB Group D is a national-level exam, and the conducting body has some prescribed norms for the Nationality of the candidates. Candidates applying for the exam must check the points regarding RRB Group D Nationality given below:
- Candidate must be a citizen of India
- They can be a subject of Nepal/Bhutan
- They are Tibetan Refugees and arrived before January 01, 1962, will be considered eligible.
- Those who shifted to India permanently from countries like Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, and East African Countries are allowed for the exam.
Work Experience
Candidates in order to get selected for the RRB Group D exam will have to fulfill the eligibility criteria. According to the criteria, there is no requirement for previous work experience. Candidates can qualify in the written exam and pass the physical and medical standards to get recruited under RRB.
Number of Attempts
RRB has not mentioned any limitations on the number of attempts. However, the candidates appearing for the RRB Group D exam will have to fulfill the eligibility criteria and have to belong to the prescribed age limit to be eligible.

- The RRB Group D CBT Exam is conducted for 100 marks.
