SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria
SSC MTS Nationality
Candidates are required to be either:
- A citizen of India
- Subject of Nepal
- Subject of Bhutan
- Tibetan Refugee
- People of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Afghanistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam
SSC MTS Age Limit
The age limits are as follows:
- A candidate must be of minimum 18 years of age and must not exceed 25 years of age, candidates born not before 02-01-1998 and not later than 01-01-2005.
- Subject of Nepal18-27 years, the candidates born not before 02-01-1996 and not later than 01-01-2005
- Apart from the pre-mentioned Age Requirement, candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation as per Government Rules
SSC MTS Educational Qualification
A candidate is required to pass Matriculation (10th class) or its equivalent Exam from a recognized State Board, University, or Institute to be eligible to apply for SSC MTS Exam.
SSC MTS Exam Pattern
The question paper for the Examination would be set up in both Languages, that is Hindi and English. The commission has released the new exam pattern of the SSC MTS Computer-Based Test. The changes made by the commission for the SSC MTS Computer-Based Exam 2024 are given below:

SSC MTS Syllabus
The SSC MTS Exam is conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The written exam consists of four sections divided into 2 main sessions. As the educational qualification required to appear in the SSC MTS Exam is matriculation, the syllabus is based on 10th-class education.
